Disney Launches New Trailer for Beyoncé's Upcoming Film BLACK IS KING

People love Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, a 24-time GRAMMY Award-winner. Well, the music star has created a visual album film called Black Is King based on the music from The Lion King: The Gift, and it will premiere on Disney+ on July 31. The film releases roughly one year after the release of the live-action Lion King film, too, and “reimagines the lessons from the 2019 blockbuster for today’s young kings and queens in search of their own crowns.” In addition, a deal was cut with MultiChoice Group’s M-Net and Canal+ Afrique to allow Black Is King to be available to many of the countries on the African continent including South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia, Namibia, Cameroon, Liberia, Burundi, Senegal, Togo, Somalia, Benin, Congo, Kenya, Ivory Coast, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Gabon, Cape Verde, and many more.

Black Is King is directed by a variety of directors including Emmanuel Adjei, Blitz Bazawule, and Jake Nava to name a few. It also features special guests like Lupita Nyong’o, Pharrell Williams, and Jay-Z. Are you excited for this new film?
