Disney+ LOKI Series Producers Promise a "Huge Time Travel Component" to the Upcoming Show

When the new lineup was announced for the next phases in the MCU at San Diego Comic-Con this past summer, we heard title after title. It was super exciting and super overwhelming. It raised lots of questions and made us wonder what each of project was going to look like. While some of the films and series are closer to hitting the screen and we have gotten a bit more information, some are still a ways off. But luckily we are beginning to get glimpses at some of our favorite characters and where their stories are going.

CB has reportedly already dived into the new Disney+ special Expanding The Universe, and they say that the Loki series executive producers give a little tease about the series and what we can expect from it. EP Stephen Broussard shared:

"There's a huge time travel component. There will be a man on the run quality to it and we get the chance to explore more human sides of Loki."

EP Kevin Wright added:

"We're finally going to see him on his back foot. This his him being put in a position where he doesn't have all the answers and has been thrown a curveball by life."

It will be so fun and exciting to see Loki (alive!) in this new reality created by the time travel that was necessary to save the world and defeat Thanos in Avengers: Endgame. Tom Hiddleston will be back as Loki, and the series is set to hit Disney+ in 2021.

Are you excited?
