Disney Official Confirms Pixar is Developing INSIDE OUT 2!

There have already been a lot of really cool things announced this year at Disney’s D23 Expo. One of my favorite things was the amazing news that we are getting an Inside Out 2, coming to theaters summer 2024.

Nearing the end of the Pixar portion of the panel, director Pete Doctor was interrupted by Amy Poehler so that she could break the news to the crowd. With the movie being released in just under two years, there wasn’t much info for them to give out, but Poehler did drop a few things to look forward to when we do get to see the movie. 

She let us know that things have changed in Riley’s world since we last saw her. She will be a teenager in this next chapter of the story, and there are going to be new emotions for us to look forward to.

The sequel will be directed by Kelsey Mann, who will be taking over the job from Doctor. Meg LaFauve will return as the screenwriter and it will be produced by Mark Nielsen.

I loved the 2015 movie Inside Out, it had everything that you would anticipate from a coming-of-age Disney movie. It sounds like the sequel is going to tackle everything that comes with being a teenager and if it is anything like the first one, we are all going to cry.
