Disney+ Releases Trailer for Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Broadway Musical Sensation HAMILTON
Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Broadway musical hit Hamilton is coming to Disney+! So if you haven’t had the opportunity to enjoy this musical yet, the time is coming soon where you’ll be able to watch it and see for yourself, what everyone has been talking about.
Hamilton made its big debut in 2015 and has since become a huge sensation. It’s a hip-hop fueled historical musical about Alexander Hamilton, and it tells his incredible and inspiring story. The version of the musical that we’ll see on Disney+ will feature the original Broadway cast, and a trailer for it has been released that you can watch below.
I had the opportunity to see Hamilton when it came to Los Angeles, and I loved it! My kids really enjoyed it as well. I loved the music and the story that it told. If you’ve never it, you're in for a real treat.
The cast for Hamilton includes Lin-Manuel Miranda as Alexender Hamilton, Daveed Diggs as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, Renée Elise Goldsberry as Angelica Schuyler, Jonathan Groff as King George, Christopher Jackson as George Washington, Jasmine Cephas Jones as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds, Okieriete Onaodowan as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison, Anthony Ramos as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton, and Phillipa Soo as Eliza Hamilton.

Hamilton has received a PG-13 rating, which was kind of unexpected as there are several F-bombs dropped throughout the production. Maybe Disney edited them out for the Disney+ release, though. Or, maybe the MPAA was just more lenient on this since it’s a recording of a Broadway production. I guess we’ll find out soon enough!
Hamilton arrives exclusively on Disney+ on July 3, 2020.
