Disney Removes a Stinky Pete Scene From New TOY STORY 2 Edition in Wake of The Me Too Movement

With the release of Toy Story 4 recently, Disney and Pixar decided to re-release new editions of entire series of Toy Story films on 4k, Blu-ray, and Digital HD. Well, it turns out that there was a scene deleted from Toy Story 2 for this latest release of the film in the wake of the Me Too movement involving the character Stinky Pete.

During the credit sequence of the film, Pixar offered some funny bloopers and outtakes for the film. They made the animated characters seem like they were real actors working on the set of the film. It was a pretty fun gag that fans enjoyed, but one of them isn’t so funny now.

One of these scenes involved Woody finding old Stinky Pete using his manipulative behavior while creepily talking to two Barbie dolls. He is flirting with them and telling them he can get them a part in Toy Story 3 as he grabs the hand of one of the Barbie dolls.

They were making fun of this kind of stuff back then, when this was really happening, and a lot of those men in Hollywood have been called out on in recent years thanks to the Me Too movement… including John Lasseter, who directed the film.

I can see why they would want to delete it, especially in this climate. If you don’t remember the scene, you can watch it in the video below.
