Disney Reveals Concept Art from Jon Favreau's JUNGLE BOOK
Iron Man director Jon Favreau is currently in production on his latest film project, a live action adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book. Disney has released a piece of concept art from the film that gives us our first look at the visual style Favreau is going for with the film. It's a charming little tease of what is to come.
The story follows Mowgli, a man-cub raised in the jungle by a family of wolves, who "embarks on a captivating journey of self-discovery when he’s forced to abandon the only home he’s ever known."
The film features the voices of Ben Kingsley (The Boxtrolls, Iron Man 3), Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave) and Christopher Walken (Seven Psycopaths) as Bagheera, Raksha and King Louie. Then there's Idris Elba (The Wire) as Shere Khan, Scarlett Johansson (The Avengers) as Kaa, Bill Murray (Ghostbusters) as Baloo, and newcomer Neel Sethi plays Mowgli.
The film is set to be released on October 9th, 2015.
