Disney Studios Announces FROZEN 3, TOY STORY 5, and ZOOTOPIA 2

Some exciting news has just dropped for Disney fans! The Mouse House is diving into its treasure trove of franchises and serving up some more sequels! During today's earnings call, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that their animation production teams are hard at work developing films such as Frozen 3, Toy Story 5, and Zootopia 2!

Iger said: “Today I’m so pleased to announce that we have sequels in the works from our animation studios to some of our most popular franchises, Toy Story, Frozen, and Zootopia. we’ll have more to share about these productions soon. but this is a great example of how we’re leaning into our unrivaled brands and franchises.”

I know this shouldn’t come as a big surprise given that all three of these franchises have been huge hits for Disney at the box office, with each film nominated for an Academy Award, and each franchise raking in over a billion dollars.

After Disney’s last animated film, Strange World, bombed at the box office, it makes sense that Disney is going to be sticking to the familiar franchises that work. So, fans will be able to enjoy more wild adventures, heartwarming moments, and time with their favorite characters.
