Disney+ to Restore THE SIMPSONS Episodes to Original 4:3 Aspect Ratio Next Week

The Simpsons has been a very popular streaming choice for many fans with Disney+. Heck, I have family that I’m pretty sure would ditch the streaming service if it didn’t have The Simpsons. Well, when Disney+ launched, a lot of fans were a little outraged because all the seasons were put into a widescreen format, including older seasons that were originally released in a 4:3 aspect ratio.

So, for all of you outraged fans, we have good news. Disney+ announced over on Twitter that the original 4:3 aspect ratio will be available for all applicable episodes starting on May 28!

I’m glad this change is happening and can’t wait to not worry about details being cut out to fit the different aspect ratio.
