Disney World's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY: COSMIC REWIND Ride Gets an Opening Date and Video Announcement

A new video has released to give fans a first look at the inner working of the Walt Disney World attraction Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. It also includes an opening date for the ride so that fans can plan a trip to check it out. In the video, we see that Rocket and Groot will be driving the ship while Peter Quill naps in the passenger seat of the Benatar.

Guardians of the Galaxy franchise director James Gunn reportedly directed some of the scenes for the ride, following in the tradition of filmmakers like George Lucas and The Godfather's Francis Ford Coppola, who filmed scenes for Captain EO and Star Tours.

This is the second ride created for Disney parks, the first one being Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout at Disneyland’s California Adventure Park, which happens to be my whole family’s favorite ride. We are hoping to plan a Disney World trip in the next year or so, and we can’t wait to ride this new one!
