Disneyland's STAR WARS: SMUGGLER'S RUN Attraction Is Getting a MANDALORIAN Update
Disneyland’s Star Wars Land boasts some of the coolest attractions in the park, and while they are among the newest, one is about to undergo an overhaul for a pretty cool reason.
The Smuggler’s Run ride allows you to take a trip in the famous cockpit of the Millennium Falcon on a daring flight—and whether you’re a pilot, engineer or gunner, every role is crucial.
The engines rumble as the Millennium Falcon blasts off, pushing you and your crew back into your seats when you jump into hyperspace towards adventure.
Along the way you’ll face danger at every turn. Will your mission succeed or fail? It’s up to you—find out if you have what it takes to outmaneuver the odds aboard the Millennium Falcon.
The ride will now feature an update that will include the Disney+ Star Wars character The Mandalorian. No details about the new mission were revealed, but concept art shown during D23 by Dave Filoni showed riders in the Millennium Falcon flying alongside Din Djarin, jetpacking through the sky with Grogu in his arms, as the Falcon shoots down TIE Fighters.
“The intersection of storytelling and innovation has always been central to Lucasfilm and we’re excited to see where this collaboration will take us next,” Filoni said of Disney’s $1.5 billion stake in Epic. “Just imagine it: you’ll be able to fly alongside Mando and Grogu on thrilling, and dangerous, missions.”
