Disney's MULAN Gets a New Trailer and Six New Posters Showing Off The Main Characters
Disney has released a new trailer and a collection of six new character posters for their epic-looking live-action adaptation of Mulan. The posters feature Yifei Liu as Mulan; Donnie Yen as Commander Tung; Jason Scott Lee as Böri Khan; Yoson An as Cheng Honghui; Gong Li as Xianniang and Jet Li as the Emperor. I love the cast for this film and everyone looks badass in their roles.
The film comes from director Niki Caro (The Zookeeper’s Wife, North Country), and I think she’s going to deliver a hell of a great film. Everything I’ve seen from the trailers that have been released has been fantastic and I really hope it delivers on the high expectations.
Here’s the synopsis for the film:
When the Emperor of China issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Army to defend the country from Northern invaders, Hua Mulan, the eldest daughter of an honored warrior, steps in to take the place of her ailing father. Mulan will be released on March 27th, 2020.
