Disney+'s New BAYMAX Spinoff Series Gets a Fun First Teaser Trailer

Disney+ has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming new Big Hero 6 spinoff series Baymax. The Series will follow the lovable inflatable robot and his adventures of working as a nurse/healthcare companion around the city of San Fransokyo.

I really enjoyed the Big Hero 6 film and while I was hoping we’d get to see a sequel, at least Disney continues to play with the characters in the spinoffs. There was also a Big Hero 6 animated series launched in 2017 that ran for three seasons.

Baymax is the first TV series to be produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. Most animated TV shows based on films in the Disney animated movie including Big Hero 6: The Series have always been made by Disney Television Animation.

The Baymax series is created and written by animation filmmaker Don Hall, director of Disney movies Winnie the Pooh, Big Hero 6, Moana (as co-director), and Raya and the Last Dragon previously. Baymax will stream on Disney+ starting Summer 2022.
