Disturbing Trailer for Ben Wheatley's Latest Horror Thriller IN THE EARTH
The first trailer has arrived for the upcoming horror film In The Earth, and it looks like director Ben Wheatley (Kill List, High-Rise, A Field in England, Rebecca) wants to take audiences on another crazy and disturbing journey. This has the makings of a mind-bending horror film, and I can’t wait to watch it!
In the Earth will give us a timely story set in a world that “searches for a cure to a disastrous virus as a scientist and park scout venture deep in the forest for a routine equipment run. Through the night, their journey becomes a terrifying voyage through the heart of darkness, the forest coming to life around them.”
I’ve enjoyed the films that Wheatley has made. He has an interesting way of telling his dark tales and it looks like he doesn’t hold back on this one.
The film stars Joel Fry, Ellora Torchia, Reece Shearsmith, and Hayley Squires. NEON will release the film in theaters on April 23rd.
