Divorced Dad Tries to Bond With His Son in the Hilarious SNL Animated Short BRAD AND HIS DAD
Saturday Night Live released a new animated short called Brad and His Dad, and it’s a funny yet oddly relatable look at a divorced dad doing his best to bond with his kid.
Created by Streeter Seidell and Mikey Day, with animation by Leigh McG, the short follows a dad who’s desperate to make the most of his weekend visit with his son, Brad. Determined to spend some quality time together outside the house, he drags Brad out for some father-son adventures.
Unfortunately, things don’t exactly go as planned. After a few awkward and unsuccessful attempts at outdoor fun, Dad finally gives in and lets Brad do what he actually enjoys most.
It’s a quick watch that’ll hit home for anyone who’s ever tried a little too hard to connect, and realized that sometimes, the best moments happen when you stop trying so hard.
