DJ Don Diablo Is Releasing a Comic Series Called HEXAGON with the First Issue Debuting at New York Comic-Con

DJ and producer Don Diablo has teamed up with writer Michael Moreci and Impact Theory to launch a new comic series called Hexagon. The series is a YA sci-fi series, and it will debut this weekend at New York Comic-Con with Diablo himself making an appearance on Saturday at 1 PM. Hexagon #1 will feature art by Jheremy Raapack with variant covers from Jorge Corona and Julien Cittadino.

Don is an unassuming twelve-year-old boy, or so it would seem. Like any other nerdy kid growing up in the suburbs of the 1980s he’s into cartoons, robots, and comic books – passions shared by a father he loves, but who spends far too much time traveling for work. The only thing people who know him feel is strange about Don is that his father refuses to let him play video games. That is, until, frustrated by his father’s incessant travel, and egged on by his friends and the desire to impress a girl, he sneaks out to join an all-night game-a-thon at the local arcade. Defying the odds, on his first quarter ever, Don beats Crucible, the game everyone considered unbeatable. In an instant, his world is turned upside down when his victory triggers an alien invasion and sucks him into an intergalactic battle that has been raging for years.

Hexagon #1 will be available for free at the Impact Theory (#426) booth during NYCC with future issues available in 2020 at retail stories.
