Do These Photos Prove The Return of a Certain GAME OF THRONES Character?
Spoilers for Game of Thrones (and potentially next season of the show) ahead.
The most recent season of HBO's Game of Thrones ended with a shocking image: a dead Jon Snow, murdered by fellow members of the Night's Watch. People went crazy, but many were left clinging to the hope that he would somehow return (most likely resurrected by Melisandre and the powers of the Lord of Light). All summer, people have been keeping a sharp eye on star Kit Harington to see if he'd be heading to Belfast, where the cast is now gathered for table reads and filming for season 6 is about to get underway. And now it appears that the character will be returning in some capacity, as Watchers on the Wall have posted a couple of photos of Harington at the Belfast airport, arriving on the same flight as Jaqen H'ghar actor Tom Wlaschiha.
True, Harington could be in Belfast to film scenes as just a dead body (similar to how Charles Dance appeared at the beginning of season 5), but since we're now at the point where we've caught up to George R.R. Martin's novels, it's much more fun to speculate that we'll see the revival of Jon Snow instead of just another corpse. ALTHOUGH, now that I think about it, how awesome would it be if the Night King turned Jon into a wight instead of having him become a hero reborn? That would be pretty amazing...
(Sorry for the Tyrion header photo. Didn't want to spoil anyone who hasn't caught up with the show yet.)
