DOCTOR STRANGE 2 Storyboard Art Shows Gruesome Deleted Scene of Scarlet Witch Killing Mordo

Some official Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness storyboard art has been shared that reveals the deleted scene in which Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) murders Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor).

This was from an alternate opening scene in the film. Director Sam Raimi actually talks about it in audio commentary and explains that Scarlet Witch "killed [Mordo] and cut his head off” and “presented it to Strange in a later scene."

This storyboard art shows that scene, and it would have been gruesome! I can totally understand why they didn’t include it in the film. You can only have so much bloody, savage slaughtering in a Marvel film.

The storyboard art was shared by Jeremy Simster who said:

Every wonder whatever happened to Universe 616 Mordo? Well, up until very late in the process THIS is what happened to him! It's always interesting to be involved as the story gets refined while I storyboard. Who knows what Mordo's ultimate fate may be? Not me! DELETED SCENES DON'T COUNT!

(PS - I've read several interviews in which the writer Michael Waldron speaks directly about this deleted scene, so I feel like it's safe to post this)

Would you have wanted to see this this scene included in the movie?
