DOCTOR STRANGE 2 Trailer Connects WHAT IF...? to the MCU

Let us start this out with a giant SPOILER WARNING!! If you haven’t seen Spider-Man No Way Home or you didn’t stay till after the credits of said movie, please stop reading. If you haven’t seen the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Trailer and or you haven’t watched What if…? on Disney+ I would advise you to leave now or forever hold your Peace. I do not want to spoil anything for you, so if you continue reading, be warned.

No Way Home was one of my most anticipated movies of the year, and it delivered on all accounts. Then it surpassed all expectations when we got a Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness teaser after the credits. There is so much that I would love to talk/speculate on but there is one scene in the teaser that we all need to unpack.

President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, once said that all of the Marvel shows on Disney+ would affect the MCU directly. Then What if…? came out, and I just couldn’t see the connection. Well, now I think the connection has been made, at least I think so.

With the line, “Things just got out of hand,” we possibly get our first look at Strange Supreme from What If…? entering into the MCU. From the outset in the teaser, it appears that Strange is being set up to be the big bad in his own movie due to his messing with the Multiverse. Little did they know that things were going to get worse. Check out the image comparison below.

I truly hope that this is what is happening. Marvel has been coming out with some boss level content on Disney+, including Hawkeye, which if you are not watching that series, shame on you. Go fix yourself.
