Doctor Strange and Wong Meet America Chavez in New Photo From DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS

We’ve already seen footage of America Chavez in action in the latest trailer that was released for Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. There’s still not much known about her role in the story, but it looks like she’ll have a decent-sized role in the story and she will see a good amount of action.

Now we have a new photo to share with you from the film that features America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) meeting with Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Wong (Benedict Wong) in an alleyway behind some buildings.

Chavez will join Strange, Wong, and Scarlet Witch as they attempt to stop the fracturing of worlds. She was originally supposed to appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home. You can check out some early concept art of her inclusion here. Obviously, the creative team ended up saving her for the Doctor Strange sequel.

America Chavez’s powers consist of superhuman strength, superhuman speed, flight, invulnerability, and superhuman durability, and she can also create a star-shaped portal to other realities/dimensions. With the multiverse cracking open in the film, so it makes sense that they want to include her in the movie.
