DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS Will Not Be Screened Until Red Carpet Premiere
We are less than a month out from the big screen release of one of the most anticipated movies in Marvel history, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The film has given us trailers and teasers here and there, but as it’s a Marvel movie, and a pretty pivotal one, we can expect to see some surprises. The movies coming after this sequel, namely Thor: Love and Thunder and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, have kept their lids on pretty tightly, so fans are also looking forward to seeing what post-credits scenes will be included as well.
It’s all exciting, but the one thing that could foil the surprises is Spoilers! But Marvel is doing its best to keep them at bay. In a recent tweet from Fandango insider Erik Davis, he revealed that critics and insiders will not be getting advanced screenings of the movie in the weeks ahead of its release. Check it out below:
This is definitely a good idea. After the Eternals post credits scene was blown way ahead of its release, this probably put the execs on high alert. I feel like people did an okay job not spoiling Spider-Man: No Way Home, but I also saw it opening night. With this much precaution being taken to keep Multiverse of Madness spoiler-free, I am expecting some major twists and turns. I can’t wait!
Tickets for Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness are available now. The film hits theaters on May 6th, with many theaters beginning to screen on May 5th. Are you getting excited?
