Doctor Strange Makes an Appearance in New International Trailer For THOR: RAGNAROK
"Distiny has dire plans for you, my friend."
A new international trailer was just released for Thor: Ragnarok. Most of the footage in the trailer is stuff we've already seen, but the first part focuses on Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) having a little talk in Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum.
I have no idea how big of a part that Doctor Strange will play in the film, but we know that Thor and Loki meet him when they come to Earth looking for Odin. I'd love to see Strange get into some action fighting alongside Thor and Hulk, but we'll just have to wait and see.
In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok — the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization — at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger — the Incredible Hulk!
The movie was directed by Taika Waititi and also stars Tessa Thompson, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban, and Mark Ruffalo. Thor: Ragnarok is set to be released on November 3, 2017.
