Dolph Lundgren Has Started Training To Play Drago in CREED 2! Here's a Video!

Over the past couple of months, Sylvester Stallone has been teasing the return of Dolph Lundgren as Ivan Drago in Creed 2. There's been no official confirmation by the studio, but it seems like this is really happening!

First Stallone posted a photoshopped image featuring Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan), the son of Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers), facing off against Drago. That image came with the caption:

"Here's a chance to stretch your imagination ... HISTORY WILL ALWAYS REPEAT ITSELF IN ONE FORM OR ANOTHER, JUST GOT TO BE READY! ... Sins of the Father.... #creed2 # agentnickyc #rockybalboa"

Then when asked if Drago would be coming back as a fighter or a trainer, Stallone said:

"I'm gonna punch him...You know I gotta hit Drago once."

Now today we have a video from Lundgren himself showing us that he's started his intense training to reprise his role!

"Getting ready for something big! 👊 @officialslystallone# Creed2 #IvanDrago"

It looks like this return of Drago is really happening and Lundgren looks like he can kick some serious ass if he wanted to! The guy is in crazy good shape!

I'm looking forward to seeing how Drago will be implemented into the story. I wonder if he will have a son that gets into the ring with Adonis or if he will be training another Russian fighter. Regardless, it's awesome that this character will be joining Stallone in the franchise again after all these years. Do you think he'll return as friend or foe?
