Dominic Monaghan Re-Unites With J.J. Abrams For STAR WARS: EPISODE IX

Dominic Monaghan, who is best known for his roles in The Lord of the Rings and Lost, has joined the cast of Star Wars: Episode IX! There's no word on who he will be playing in the film but it reunites the actor with director J.J. Abrams who he previously worked with on Lost. Monaghan had this to say in a statement:

"The galaxy far far away has had almost as much influence as the one I live in, so I am delighted to be involved."

It's pretty cool to see that Monaghan has joined the Star Wars universe. It'll be fun to see who he ends up playing in the film.

Monaghan joins the previously cast Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Keri Russell, Joonas Suotamo, Billie LourdRichard E. GrantNaomi AckieMark Hamill, Anthony DanielsBilly Dee Williams, and Carrie Fisher.

The movie is shooting at London’s Pinewood Studios and it's scheduled for release on December 20, 2019.
