Dominic Monaghan Shows Off STAR WARS: EPISODE IX "Trixie" Hat in New Photo
trIXie was the code name given to Star Wars: Episode IX. Now, Dominic Monaghan is teasing fans on Instagram as he posted a picture of a hat with the trIXie logo on it.
Now, I’m going to take a minute to go into crazy fan mode and jump to conclusions and theories that are unwarranted. We know that Monaghan was officially announced after production had started, but no further details were given. What if he’s trying to give fans a hint. Below the hat is a horse as part of a blanket or sweater or something. In chess, the horse is called a knight. The Force Awakens introduced the idea of the Knights of Ren, Kylo Ren’s posse after turning to the dark side, but then they weren’t even mentioned in The Last Jedi. Many fans are already anticipating the Knights of Ren to make an appearance in Episode IX, and a fair number already believe Monaghan to be one of these knights. Maybe this is him telling fans that he is indeed a Knight of Ren in the film.
It is also completely possible that he is trolling fans or didn’t even plan to have a horse in the picture, but I thought it was a fun idea. Do you think that the picture has any hidden meanings?
