Don Cheadle is Coming For the Dragon in First Trailer For Seth Rogen's Showtime Series BLACK MONDAY
Seth Rogen has a new series coming out that he developed with Evan Goldberg and Don Cheadle for Showtime called Black Monday. We have the first wild trailer to share with you today in which Cheadle shares a dream he had about dragons.
The series is set in 1987 and it tells the true story behind what caused Black Monday, which is the worst stock market crash in Wall Street history. Here’s the synopsis:
Black Monday takes viewers back to October 19, 1987 — aka Black Monday, the worst stock market crash in the history of Wall Street. To this day, no one knows who caused it… until now. It’s the story of how a group of outsiders took on the blue-blood, old-boys club of Wall Street and ended up crashing the world’s largest financial system, a Lamborghini limousine, and the glass ceiling.
The series was created by David Caspe (Happy Endings) and Jordan Cahan (My Best Friend’s Girl). Rogen and Goldberg (Preacher) also directed the pilot episode.
Black Monday also stars Paul Scheer (The League), Yassir Lester (Making History), Horatio Sanz (Glow), Michael James Scott (Aladdin on Broadway) and Eugene Cordero (Kong: Skull Island), with recurring guest star Casey Wilson (Happy Endings) and guest stars Ken Marino (Wet Hot American Summer), Kurt Braunohler (Bunk), Bruce Dern (Big Love), Melissa Rauch (The Big Bang Theory), Julie Hagerty (Airplane), Kadeem Hardison (A Different World), Vanessa Bell Calloway (Shameless), Tim Russ (iCarly), and Jason Michael Snow (The Book of Mormon).
Black Monday will premiere on Sunday, January 20, 2019, and it will consist of ten episodes.
