Don Cheadle Won't Do ENDGAME Press with Mark Ruffalo Because He Keeps Dropping Spoilers and There Are Penalties

While a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Don Cheadle makes it clear that he isn’t a fan of his fellow cast members dropping spoilers on the Marvel films that they star in. In fact, he says he won’t do any Avengers: Endgame press with Mark Ruffalo for that reason! He says:

"He runs his mouth a lot… Why do I need that hassle, right? I don't need to be sitting next to him when he blows the whole reveal of the movie. Him and Tom Holland... a little chatty."

He then goes on to say something interesting revealing that there are "penalties to pay." I have no idea what that means, but does Marvel Studio punish the actors for spoiling stuff!? He doesn’t really get into it because the conversation movies on to how the cast plays Boggle on the set of the films.

Remember that time when Ruffalo almost revealed that half of the population dies in Infinity War? Instead, he said "everyone" died. Cheadle was with him in that moment, and when previously talking about it with Jimmy Kimmel, he said:

"Well if you listen very closely, he actually started to say the absolute truth, and then had to try to say 'everybody' after he almost said 'half.' It was like, 'You just messed the whole thing up!'"

I don’t blame Cheadle for not wanting to do press with Ruffalo anymore! But, I’m still curious about his penalties comment. What do you think the penalties are? Or do you think he’s just messing around?

Don Cheadle chats with Jimmy about refusing to do press with his Avengers: Endgame co-star Mark Ruffalo, winning Boggle on set with the cast and his Showtime series Black Monday.
