Don Johnson Joins John Boyega's "Bone-Breaking" Action Thriller For Netflix REBEL RIDGE

Knives Out and Watchmen series star Don Johnson is set to star alongside John Boyega in the upcoming Netflix film, Rebel Ridge, which comes from writer and director Jeremy Saulnier. Saulnier previously brought us films such Blue Ruin, Green Room, and Hold The Dark.

I’m a fans of the films that Saulnier has made, and this next one sounds like he’s going all out. The movie is described as “a deeply human yet high-velocity thriller that explores systemic American injustice in the context of bone-breaking action, ever-coiling suspense, and pitch-black humor.” I wish I had some additional story details to share, but still… sign me up!

Also joining the cast are Erin Doherty (The Crown), James Badge Dale (Mickey and the Bear, Hold The Dark), Zsane Jhe (Underground Railroad, Good Trouble) and James Cromwell (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, American Horror Story: Asylum).
