Don Johnson To Join The All-Star Cast of Rian Johnson's KNIVES OUT

We’ve got some more casting news regarding Rian Johnson’s new film Knives Out. The murder mystery thriller already has an all-star cast that includes Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Michael Shannon, na de Armas and Lakeith Stanfield.

Now it’s being reported that Don Johnson (Django Unchained, Miami Vice) is joining the the film! Like most of the cast, there’s no information on who he’s playing.

There aren’t many details on the project, but it has been described as a modern-day murder mystery in the classic Agatha Christie whodunit style, infused with Johnson’s original voice that informed films from Brick to Looper.

We do know that Craig and Stanfield will play detectives in the story who is assigned to solve a crime.

Production on the film begins next month. Johnson is also starring in HBO’s Watchmen series and will next appear in S. Craig Zahler’s feature Dragged Across Concrete.
