Donald Faison Is Very Unhappy That FORTNITE Stole His Dance From SCRUBS

Fortnite is a global phenomenon, and there are people who hate it and people who love it with a lot of people in the middle not caring.

At Vulture Festival 2018, there was a reunion of the cast from Scrubs, and we learned that Donald Faison has a bone to pick with Epic Games.

Epic Games has copied Faison’s dance to “Poison” by Bell Biv Davoe and made it one of the in-game emotes.

Don’t believe me? Check out the video:

I take a look at the unspoken issue concerning the music for the Dance Moves emote!

Also, at the reunion Bill Lawrence confirmed that it’s the same dance since Fortnite contacted him about using it for legal reasons.

Fortnite had to enquire for the legal…for the legality of it, and it’s fine because it’s just a character dancing.

Faison is not happy about this, though, as when asked if he would do the dance he responded:

If you wanna see it, you can play Fortnite, because they jacked that sh*t.

I don’t get no money. That’s what y’all are thinking, right? Somebody got paid? No. No. I did not. Somebody stole that sh*t, and it’s not mine any more.

Some of Faison’s co-stars started piping up and making jokes about how they were getting paid for it and keeping the money from Faison, but Faison was quick to shoot that down and remind the audience that no one is getting paid for the dance being used in the game. You can watch the entire panel below with the Fortnite bit starting around the 43:00 mark.
