Donald Glover and Rihanna's GUAVA ISLAND Hits Amazon Prime Video This Weekend
After not really hearing much of anything about this project, the movie Guava Island is coming to Amazon Prime this weekend! Donald Glover (Atlanta, Solo: A Star Wars Story) and Rihanna (Ocean’s 8) star in this island film.
We have the teaser trailer that Amazon Prime Video tweeted to give you the vibe. We know that the movie is going to be an “island thriller,” and will run at an hour long. Other than that, the only synopsis I found said: “A tropical thriller that casts Donald Glover as a musician with designs on pulling off a scheme to rob his way into the good life, which quickly gets him in over his head.”
So it’s fairly mysterious still, but you can watch the movie in its entirety tomorrow night just after midnight. And Glover had this to say about the movie:
“I’m really humbled having the opportunity to present something this timely and timeless. Between Rihanna and the people of Cuba, this is one of my favorite projects I’ve ever worked on,”
