Donald Glover Says He Thinks Sony Will Make a Live-Action MILES MORALES and They'll Want Him to Play Prowler
Emmy-winning actor Donald Glover (Community, Atlanta, Solo) has long been a fan of the Spider-Man franchise. Glover wore a web-slinger inspired getup in his series Community, and made a bid early on in his career to play Spider-Man. Then he appeared as Miles Morales’s Uncle Aaron in a cameo role in Marvel’s 2017 film, Spider-Man: Homecoming. As for whether or not we will see him appear in another Spider-Man role, the actor touched on the idea in a recent Vanity Fair interview alongside his Mr. and Mrs. Smith Prime series co-star Maya Erskine, where he said:
"There’s definitely going to be like a Miles Morales live-action eventually, and I think they’re probably more concerned with me being Prowler in that or something like that. I'm too old to be Spider-Man now."
There are a few different directions the character of Prowler has been taken in the comics, so the (mostly) villain/occasional hero, could be utilized easily in a fun way in a live-action Miles Morales movie. What do you think? Would you like to see Glover take on the part of Prowler or something else in the Miles Morales/Spider-Man Universe?
