Don't Expect To See Doctor Strange in SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME
One of the first things we learned about Marvel's Spider-Man sequel was that Iron Man would not be in it. It was also revealed that a new "to-be-determined Marvel character" would join Spider-Man on his next adventure.
We have no idea who that character will be. I was personally hoping for Hulk but other fans suspected that it might be Doctor Strange. It would kind of make sense for Strange and Spidey to team up because, after all, there is a Sanctum Santorum location in London which is where Peter Parker will be spending part of his summer vacation.
Well, it turns out that Doctor Strange will not be in the film. That was confirmed by Kevin Feige himself during an interview with /Film. When asked about the possibility of Strange possibly appearing in Spider-Man: Far From Home, Feige simply said "No."
He then said he could be coy about it, but confirmed again that the answer is no. Feige went on to say, "I don’t wanna get people excited. But Benedict and Holland have liked the idea of working together."
So maybe one day we will see the two characters team up for a film, but Spider-Man: Far From Home will not be it.
Since Strange is out of the running, what other MCU heroes would you like to see Spider-Man team up with in the sequel?
