Don't Expect to See Moon Knight in Marvel's WEREWOLF BY NIGHT Special
Marvel's upcoming Werewolf By Night special is actually one of the things I’m looking forward to watching most from the studio. It looks like it’s going to be an incredibly fun movie! The project was made to look like a throwback to the black and white horror films of the ’30s and ’40s.
The story centers on a group of unusual suspects gathered together on a creepy night, and one of them is the Werewolf by Night. They find themselves in a position where they are forced to stay alive as the end of the night approaches.
When the project was first announced, a lot of fans expected to see Moon Knight in the series as the character first appeared in the Werewolf By Night comic series. But, don’t expect Moon Knight to show up.
While speaking with ET Canada, director Michael Giacchino said: “Moon Knight first appeared in Werewolf by Night in the comics years ago. That’s what everyone is thinking. Yeah, there’s no immediate plans for anything like that.”
Maybe one day a crossover will happen, but it won’t be with this series. That’s ok, though, Man-Thing will be in the series, and that’s even more awesome!
Gael García Bernal plays Jack Russell, a.k.a. Werewolf By Night, and when asked the same question about Moon Knight, he laughed and said, “I have no idea.”
Marvel Studios’ Special Presentation: Werewolf By Night, will stream on October 7th only on Disney+. Watch the trailer again for the film here!
