DOOM PATROL Season 3 Casts FLIGHT ATTENDANT Star Michelle Gomez as Madame Rouge
The Flight Attendant star Michelle Gomez is joining DC’s Doom Patrol Season 3, which is coming to HBO Max. Gomez is set to take on the role of Madame Rouge, who is described as “a complicated and electrifying eccentric who arrives at Doom Manor with a very specific mission, if only she could remember it.”
Gomez was great in the role of Miranda Croft in The Flight Attendant, and I also enjoyed her in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina in the role of Madam Satan. This character she’s playing in Doom Patrol seems like it’ll be an awesome fit for her.
She joins Brendan Fraser as Cliff Steele, Matt Bomer as Larry Trainor aka Negative Man, Timothy Dalton as Niles Caulder aka the Chief, Diane Guerrero as Jane aka Crazy Jane, April Bowlby as Rita Farr aka Elasti-Woman and Joivan Wade as Victor Stone aka Cyborg.
Doom Patrol is a team of traumatized and downtrodden superheroes, each of whom has suffered a horrible accident that gave them superhuman abilities but also left them scarred and disfigured. The members of the team have found their purpose through The Chief and have come together to investigate some of the world's weirdest phenomena. After The Chief mysteriously disappears, though, the reluctant heroes find themselves called to action by Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission that they cannot refuse. Doom Patrol -- part support group, part superhero team -- is a band of superpowered freaks fighting for a world that wants nothing to do with them.
This is quite a strange but fun series and it’s worth checking out if you haven’t seen it yet.
