Dora Embarks on an Adventure in First Trailer For DORA AND THE LOST CITY OF GOLD
The moment you’ve all been waiting for has arrived! Forget Avengers: Endgame and John Wick: Chapter 3! We have the first trailer to share with you for the live-action Dora the Explorer movie, Dora and the Lost City of Gold!
Due to the fact that I’ve been raising three girls, I’m very familiar with Dora the Explorer and while I’m not really a fan, Isabela Moner was perfectly cast in the role. She really bring that level of energy to the character that was in the animated series. A lot of kids are going to love this movie.
Here’s the synopsis for the film that has been released:
Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents, nothing could prepare Dora (Isabela Moner) for her most dangerous adventure ever – High School. Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey), Diego (Jeffrey Wahlberg), a mysterious jungle inhabitant (Eugenio Derbez), and a rag tag group of teens on a live-action adventure to save her parents (Eva Longoria, Michael Peña) and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost city of gold.
James Bobin (Alice Through the Looking Glass) directed the movie, and it also stars Adriana Barraza, Temuera Morrison, Nicholas Coombe, Madeleine Madden, and Danny Trejo.
The movie will be released on August 2nd.
