Another cast member has been announced for the live-action Dora the Explorer movie with Madeleine Madden (Picnic and Hanging Rock). Madden’s role has not been revealed, and I honestly have no idea who she could be. Maybe Backpack? I’ll be honest, I’m still surprised that this movie is being made.

Madden is joining Isabela Moner, Eugenio Derbesz, Micke Moreno, and Adriana Barraza. Danielle Sanchez-Witzel and Nicholas Stoller are writing the script that James Bobin will use to direct the film. Michael Bay is also producing.

Dora the Explorer currently has a release date of August 2, 2019.
