Doug Jones Set to Star in Horror Film THE BYE BYE MAN

Doug Jones has been cast in the lead role in an upcoming horror thriller called The Bye Bye Man. Jones is a frequent collaborator with Guillermo del Toro and has worked on several films, such as Hellboy and Pan's Labyrinth

The Bye Bye Man is being directed by Stacy Title and is an adaptation of a short story called “The Bridge to Body Island” by Robert Damon Schneck. The story "recounts a series of terrifying events experienced by three Wisconsin college students." Those students will be played by Douglas Smith, Cressida Bonas, and Lucien Laviscount. Jones, of course, will play The Bye Bye Man.

Jones is seriously such a great guy. I've had the privilege of meeting him a couple of times, and he's just so damn nice! When he's not working on feature film projects, he's also helping out with lots of short films. The guy keeps himself busy, and it's always great to see him land cool movie gigs.

I have no idea what's in store for us with The Bye Bye Man, but if Jones thought it was good enough to jump on board to star in, then you know it will probably end up being solid horror flick.
