Dr. Death's Sideshow Spookhouse Spectacular Unleashes The Freaks in Trailer For CANDY CORN

We’ve got a trailer for a new indie Halloween-themed horror film for you to check out today called Candy Corn. I like the creepy vibe of the film as it tells the tale of a group of freaks who are out for blood and revenge in a small town during the Season of the Witch.

Here’s the film’s official synopsis:

It’s the eve of Halloween in Grove Hill, Ohio. A traveling carnival is in town for the weekend and local outcast, Jacob Atkins, has been hired as one of the freaks in the event’s main attraction, “Dr. Death’s Side Show Spook House Spectacular.” Meanwhile, a group of local bullies are planning their annual public hazing of Jacob, but this year, things go too far.

I enjoy these kinds of horror movies that are set during Halloween. I just love the season and everything that goes with it, and this movie looks like it captures the spirit and will be a fun one to watch!

The film stars P.J. Soles (Carrie, Halloween), Tony Todd (Candyman, Final Destination), and Courtney Gains (Children Of The Corn, The ‘Burbs) who “all find themselves under the curse of Dr. Death (Pancho Moler), tormented by bearded ladies and instructed not to roam freely after dark.”

Candy Corn is set to hit limited cinemas on September 13, 2019 with a home release rollout on VOD/Blu-ray September 17, 2019.

Filmmaker Josh Hasty's new horror movie stars P.J. Soles (Carrie, Halloween), Tony Todd (Candyman, Final Destination), and Courtney Gains (Children Of The Corn, The 'Burbs). Candy Corn hits limited theaters on September 13 and VOD on September 17, 2019.
