Dr. Halsey and a New Character Will Be Joining Master Chief in HALO Series

TV HaloShowtime by Tommy Williams

Showtime is making a Halo TV series and it’s looking for someone to fill the role of Master Chief and Dr. Halsey as well as a new name, Jenny. Casting notices for Master Chief say they are looking for someone with a large build (makes sense). Of course, the most interesting thing is that there’s a chance we’ll actually get to see what’s beneath Master Chief’s helmet. Would they keep his helmet on every time we see him in the show?

Dr. Catherine Halsey seems to be appearing in the show as well with her first appearance being in Halo: Reach. If you don’t know, Halsey is the creator of the SPARTAN-II program and the casting notice is looking for someone between the ages of 55-65.

Jenny is a new character it seems. There isn’t a Jenny from the games that I can think of, but for the role, the studio is looking for an Asian woman between 18-20 years old. Normally, this is when I’d ask who you guys want to see in the role, but I really hope they cast some no-names. Let’s get some fresh blood!

Halo is set to go into production in June 2019 with Kyle Killen serving as executive producer, writer, and showrunner.
