DR. STONE is Crunchyrolls First Summer Simulcast
Crunchyroll has announced their first simulcast for the summer. If you’re unfamiliar with anime, a simulcast means that a title will be available through Crunchyroll at the same time that it airs in Japan with subtitles. This provides a legal way for anime fans to stay current and be able to not have anything ruined. The first title for the summer will be Dr. STONE which will be based on the popular Shonen Jump manga. TMS is handling the animation for the anime which is written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi. The simulcast will be available worldwide excluding Asia when Dr. STONE premieres and feature the voice talents of Makoto Furukawa as Taiju Ōki, Kana Ichinose as Yuzuriha Ogawa, Yūsuke Kobayashi as Senku Ishigami, and Yuuichi Nakamura as Tsukasa Shishiou.
