Dracula Finds Himself on a Wild Adventure in New Trailer for HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA: TRANSFORMANIA
Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for the fourth and final film in the Hotel Transylvania franchise, Hotel Transylvania: Transformania. This next chapter of the story takes Dracula, his family, and his friends on a wild adventure!
In the new film, Mavis's husband, Johnny, wants to become a monster and ends up finding a way to make it happen. But, this same thing that turned him into a monster ends up turning Dracula and all of his monster friends into humans. So, they end up on a journey to find a way to turn them back into normal monsters. Here’s the synopsis:
Drac and the pack are back, like you’ve never seen them before in Hotel Transylvania: Transformania. Reunite with your favorite monsters for an all-new adventure that presents Drac with his most terrifying task yet. When Van Helsing's mysterious invention, the 'Monsterfication Ray,' goes haywire, Drac and his monster pals are all transformed into humans, and Johnny becomes a monster! In their new mismatched bodies, Drac, stripped of his powers, and an exuberant Johnny, loving life as a monster, must team up and race across the globe to find a cure before it's too late, and before they drive each other crazy. With help from Mavis and the hilariously human Drac Pack, the heat is on to find a way to switch themselves back before their transformations become permanent.
The voice cast for the film includes Brian Hull, Andy Sandberg, Selena Gomez, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, and David Spade. Unfortunately, Adam Sandler wasn’t available to return.
Franchise creator Genndy Tartakovsky returned to write the script for the movie and executive produce alongside Michelle Murdocca. The movie was directed by Jennifer Kluska and Derek Drymon, and produced by Alice Dewey Goldstone.
They also revealed that the film is set to hit theaters this summer on July 23rd.
