DRAGON BALL SUPER: SUPER HERO Coming To Theaters In Summer 2022

Crunchyroll and Toei Animation announced that they will be releasing the newest film in the Dragon Ball Super franchise, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, globally summer 2022. The film will be coming to North America, Latin America, Europe, Australia/New Zealand, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia (excluding Japan where it will debut June 11) in both Japanese with subtitles and dubbed. Following up the incredibly popular Dragon Ball Super: Broly, our heroes will have a familiar enemy once thought defeated to contend with.

The Red Ribbon Army was once destroyed by Son Goku. Individuals, who carry on its spirit, have created the ultimate Androids, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2. These two Androids call themselves “Super Heroes”. They start attacking Piccolo and Gohan… What is the New Red Ribbon Army’s objective? In the face of approaching danger, it is time to awaken, Super Hero!

Dragon Ball original creator Akira Toriyama is behind the film’s original story, screenplay, and character design, so you know it will be good. It will be directed by Tetsuro Kodama and though the English cast has not yet been announced the Japanese cast is:
