Drake Bell Says a DRAKE & JOSH Revival Is in the Works

When I was a teenager, I loved watching Drake & Josh on Nickelodeon. Now it looks like I may get to enjoy the duo again as an adult. At the iHeartRadio Music Awards recently, People got to interview Drake Bell, who said that he’s been talking to Josh Peck about reviving the show:

“We’re working on something. I’m excited. I think we have a great idea.

[The show] is going to be way more creative, way cooler than just you know the college years or something like that. We knew that if we were ever going to come back, it’s got to be something cool. I’m excited to see what the fans think.

We’ve known each other for so long, and it really is once in a lifetime in this industry that you get to work with somebody and it clicks like that,” he said. “He’s just got an amazing comedic wit and incredible timing and he’s really smart and we really get along. So I think that it just kind of all goes together.”

This has me really excited actually. People also says that sources say the revival would be “more adult and really funny,” whatever that means. I would love to see a return to the show in general and think it has some potential, especially if they bring in some of the guest stars like Jerry Trainor and Allison Scagliotti.

Hopefully we learn more about the revival soon. I wouldn’t put it past Netflix or Hulu to pick this up.
