DRAKES ON A PLANE Should Be a Lighthearted Challenge for Your D&D Group
“I’m done with these mother trucking drakes on this mother trucking demiplane!” That’s what your players will probably be saying partway through your Dungeons & Dragons game if you’re playing Richard Kirke’s Drakes On A Plane. In this unofficial adventure, the party must fight their way up a tower to slay a super drake while being ambushed by elemental drakes on the way up. It sounds like a lot of fun for a less serious moment. Drakes On A Plane is part of Project Silly which is a collection of adventures that are meant to be lighthearted and run as a one-shot or inserted into a campaign.
Drakes On A Plane is a daft adventure set on a demiplane created by Stratagorm the Wise, a powerful high-elf mage. The PCs must fight their way up Stratagorm's tower, a dangerous prospect even if they were not contiunally ambushed by elemental drakes. At the top of the tower they must slay the super drake William and destroy his Drake Sphere.
