Dream On: Cool Supercut of Movie Dream Sequences

VideosMovie Supercut by Ben Pearson

I think film is the best art form available to capture the sense of being in a dream. While someone may be able to paint a dream-like image or even create a song that may represent the ethereal nature of being asleep, it takes the combination of both images and audio to get as close as possible to the real thing. Dream sequences on film appear quite often, and now Gabriel Adelman has created a supercut of some of cinemas most famous dream worlds. From the eyeball slice of Un Chien Andalou to Inception's hallway fight, this video covers a wide range of film history. The use of "Hand Covers Bruise" from The Social Network score is always a nice touch, too.

Let us know what you think about the supercut below.

Hey, are you a dreamer? They say dreaming's dead. No one does it anymore. It’s not dead, it's just its been forgotten. I’m trying to change all that and I hope you are too. . . .
