Dreamworks Animation Adapting Best-Selling Fantasy Novel RONAN BOYLE AND THE BRIDGE OF RIDDLES Into Feature

Dreamworks has announced that they are set to adapt the best-selling fantasy novel Ronan Boyle and the Bridge of Riddles, from writer Tom Lennon, into an animated feature. Irish director Fergal Reilly is taking on the film, with Lennon adapting the script, which is described as “a high-adventure fantasy tale set in a magical world of law-breaking leprechauns and deadly monsters.”

Ronan Boyle and the Bridge of Riddles “reinvents Irish mythological tropes seen through the eyes of awkward Irish teen Ronan Boyle who lives in the long shadow of his famous parents. When Ronan’s parents are wrongly accused of the theft of a national treasure and sent to jail, Ronan sets out to prove their innocence and face leprechauns, undead goblins and many other legendary creatures of Celtic lore.”

This sounds like an incredibly exciting story, and I am excited to see it get made for the screen. Are you interested in this movie?
