DUCKTALES Get an Opening Credits Sequence with New Theme Song and a Premiere Date

We have known for sometime that an updated version of the beloved Disney animated series DuckTales is coming soon, but now we know when to watch our favorite adventures in Duckburg. 

EW reports the new series will begin with airing a one-hour TV movie on August 12, beginning at midnight. Then the show will officially launch with two new episodes on September 23 on Disney XD, VOD, and the network’s app.

DuckTales features the voices of David Tennant, Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz, Bobby Moynihan, Kate Micucci, Beck Bennett, Toks Olagundoye, Tony Anselmo, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Allison Janney, Margo Martindale, Paul F. Tompkins, Kimiko Glenn, Jim Rash, Josh Brener, Keith Ferguson, Eric Bauza, and Corey Burton

Disney also released a new poster and video (below) that show what will be the opening sequence for each episode. They are using a newer version of the iconic theme song, the new one was recorded by Felicia Barton and written by Mark C. Mueller.
