DUNGEONS & DRAGONS Announces ICEWIND DALE: RIME OF THE FROSTMAIDEN Adventure at D&D Live 2020
D&D Live 2020 is under way, and the big RPG company wasted no time in making a big announcement. During the event, Dungeons & Dragons announced a new adventure set in Icewind Dale and fans are pumped. Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden not only has great cover art and a gorgeous alternative cover, it sounds like a great adventure.
In Icewind Dale, adventure is a dish best served cold.
Beneath the unyielding night sky, you stand before a towering glacier and recite an ancient rhyme, causing a crack to form in the great wall of ice. Beyond this yawning fissure, the Caves of Hunger await. And past this icy dungeon is a secret so old and terrifying that few dare speak of it. Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden is a tale of dark terror that revisits the forlorn, flickering candlelights of civilization known as Ten-Towns and sheds light on the many bone-chilling locations that surround these frontier settlements.
Rime of the Frostmaiden is set to release on September 15 and you can already pre-order it via Amazon or your local game store. I cannot wait to explore Ten-Towns and the surrounding areas. I know Icewind Dale is an iconic D&D location, and I’m excited to see it for myself.
