DUNGEONS & DRAGONS Released Even More Unearthed Arcana

Dungeons & Dragons has released yet another Unearthed Arcana. This doesn’t provide any new subclasses though. This time, D&D is introducing class feature variants. Some of these are designed to replace current class features while others are meant to enhance a class feature. There are a ton here, so I won’t go into all of them, but I want to highlight a few.

First, all classes have the Proficiency Versatility enhancement for Ability Score Improvement. This allows you to swap out one of your skill proficiencies for another offered by your class to represent you changing your focuses as you play. I really like this option as there are times you’re playing and you realize that a skill proficiency doesn’t work with how your character has evolved over the last couple of levels.

Another cool thing is that Clerics, Druids, and Wizards gain the ability to swap out one cantrip after a long rest and Bards, Sorcerers, and Warlocks can swap out one spell after a long rest. I would love that right now with my Warlock character.

The final one I’ll talk about is for Monks. They gain the ability to spend ki to heal them or to prevent them from having disadvantage on long range rolls. This is pretty awesome if you’ve ever played a Monk.

What’s your favorite part of the latest Unearthed Arcana? You can download it now from the official site.
