Dustin Ingram Cast in Mystery Role in HBO's WATCHMEN

Dustin Ingram, who is best known for his roles in the movie Cabin Fever and one or two episodes of just about every show on TV since the mid-2000s, has been cast in HBO’s upcoming Watchmen series, written by Damon Lindelof, and based on the popular comic series by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. Here is a synopsis for the series, from Deadline:

Watchmen is considered a dark satirical and dystopian take on the superhero genre. Set in an alternate history where “superheroes” are treated as outlaws, Watchmen embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel while attempting to break new ground of its own.

Ingram is joining a pretty established cast that already includes Regina King (If Beale Street Could Talk), Jeremy Irons (Justice League), Don Johnson (Django Unchained), Jean Smart (Dirty John), Tim Blake Nelson (O Brother, Where Art Thou?), Louis Gossett Jr. (An Officer and a Gentleman), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman), Andrew Howard (Limitless), Tom Mison (Sleepy Hollow), Frances Fisher (Titanic), Jacob Ming-Trent (Ray Donovan), Sara Vickers (Endeavour), Dylan Schombing (Warcraft), James Wolk (Mad Men) and Hong Chau (Homecoming).

Ingram is playing a role that is still unknown, as the creators are keeping pretty tight-lipped on the whole production. This sounds like it is shaping up to be a pretty awesome series. Are you guys excited?
